I like the game a lot. It is similar to Music Quiz from the old 1.14 days. I have one very important suggestion/request... You should make a single player version (like in Music Quiz) where you are just trying to beat the clock and get points by faster response. There could be a way to save your scores so you had something to try to beat in later games. one knows my iTunes library as well as me, so the 2 player version is not a fair battle, (assuming I had someone to play it with.

I've made a small donation for now and will donate more upon updates. Keep up the great work.

One thing I would like to see is that the answer options are possibly grouped by genre or something like that. The reason why is that I have a wide range of music in my collection, so sometimes, theres a clear answer out of the 4 options, but if it was chosen by genre then it could make the game harder. Maybe this could be tied into some sort of difficulty option but i think i've already given you enough feedback so I'll stop now.

Thanks again for your great app!

Nayan & ringman,

Thank you both for your comments.

I'm going to try and find some spare time to work on a few Buzzer! updates over the next couple of weeks.

These include customising the type of game people want to play. (ie: You could choose 5 questions from round 1, 10 questions from round 2, 0 questions from round 3 etc). I'm also going to look in the possibility of genres / removal of podcasts etc.

I'll post updates here when I have some so stay tuned.

Thanks,
Richard.

PS> A donations link has also been added. That is very kind thank you.

Hey mr buzzer ;o),
love your game, great work! Nayan is right, we need a way to send you a donation please.
I have one more suggestion for the game. As i saw now the app also chose tracks from the podcast and audiobook etc sections. It would be nice if it only take stuff from the music section or step 2 would be the possibility to be able to configure in the settings, what sections are used in game.

You are really talented and i hope to see some more games you created soon!

Another thing... Any way I can donate for this wonderful app?

After playing awhile, I've got some other ideas that would make the app better... Maybe a way to choose the genre's that are included, after playing with a few friends, they're maybe not into as much music as me, so a way to filter out a few genres, could make the game more enjoyable.

What a great idea! One important suggestion - either exclude audiobooks/spoken word or let the user choose which genres to include. I listen to many audiobooks and this can't really play it as is. Hopefully that's something you can fix.

Thank Uri

The MusicLibrary and Celestrial frameworks used in Buzzer! are off limits to developers from inside the SDK. Therefore it would never get approved by Apple for the App Store.

It was really just created as a way to play with these frameworks and experiment a little.

Glad you're enjoying it - The tricky part is playing with someone else's Library of tracks. ;)

this is a terrific game. You managed to capture some if the iPhone's cooler features in a fun and well known concept. Out of curiosity, why did you not publish it in the app store? Many would be tempted to charge $1.99 for this game.

Thanks Nayan, i'll save your message in case I get some time to make an update.

It was actually meant to keep playing at the end - well, until you press the play button. I just thought the end screen needed a little livening up.

John, if you're talking about Guess the Association then this is meant to give you a mixture of artists, titles and albums. The idea is that you select the associated item relevant to the track you're listening too.

If you're talking about another round then you should not see this problem. I would suggest you examine the ID tags of your MP3 files. The reason I say that is that there is no way the app could create a concatenation of two types to be displayed.

Glad you're enjoying the game.

Very cool game, lots of fun. One thing I noticed though, is that in round 3, "guess the title", sometimes one of the choices is shown as "Artist - Title" and the rest just shows song titles. Is it supposed to be that way?
